I got baptized at the age of thirteen mainly cause of my parents and I had some friends doing it as well. I never really questioned it and I saw no reason why I shouldn´t. It was a natural thing to do and 90 percent of the kids in my class went through with it for some reason or another. I wouldn´t say that it gave me to much except from boring homework and gifts at the end of the cermony. Did it make me a better person? I don´t think so. At least not what I felt.. Well, it made my parents and grand parents happy and that´s not a bad thing, is it?

Hillary Clinton and John McCain probably coming out as winners after "Super Tuesday"

|

24 states will go into primary election next week at the "Super Tuesday". It will then be decided who will become the main Democratic, and Republican candidate. The polls are telling us that Hillary Clinton and John McCain will come out as winners, but you can't really trust the polls that much. Super Tuesday will decide on 52% of the Democratic and 41% of the Republican votes, so the winners at the end of the day will almost certainly become the main candidates. Barack Obama and John Edwards will probably come out as the loosers, but as they say, it ain't over until the fat lady sings..

Support the victims in Kenya

| | | |

You´ve probably seen the reports from the crisis in Kenya on CNN or ABC. It´s one of those news from the other side of the world that one see but not really take in and react to. Most of us just make an observation about what´s happening over  there, but we don´t really understand the seriousness behind the reports. It´s far away and their society is very much unlike our own making it difficult for us to identify with the victims. Hold that thought for a while and try to take a step back from your own probs and issues in your every day life on home ground.

George W Bush keeps his last nation wide speach today

|

George W Bush will hold a nation wide speach for the last time today. This is his last year of his long career as the President of the United States and he will propably talk much about the silent war in Irak and the reinstatement of stability and democracy in the region. He will also defend his political philosophy, but since it is his last year as the president, he won't be able to present big news or large reforms. Bush will do his best to boost the Republican candidates chances, but with his decreasing popularity, it probably won't help at the moment.
