Z1 R-200 is a well designed laptop from LG. LG Laptop Z1 R-200 has a nice looking piano styled chassi, but the peformance of the laptop processor and graphic card is so bad so it won't even be suffcient for the cool designer people. LG should hot up the Z1 R-200 hardware and release another version. 

You could see the Apple Macbook Air presented by Steve Jobs at the press conference in Moscone Center San Fransisco recently. But where can I find and buy this laptop? I searched the web to find out that it hasn't been released yet. Too bad, I would love to own a Apple Macbook Air that is the slimmest laptop on this planet. Macbook Air is 1.94 cm on the thickest part and 0.4 cm in the thinnest. It has a weight of only 1.3 kg, a bit more heavy than Asus EEE PC, but reasonable for a full feature laptop like this. Apple Macbook is kept thin and light because of the Ipod technology with 1.8 inch disk used to create this slim masterpiece. As always, Apple Macbooks looks delicious and this one is walking on air.

Global companies are becoming more environment aware. It was a clear trend at the lates CES exhibition. HP have new goals to reduce their PC and Laptop energy use by 25% by 2010. It doesn't sound like a lot, but considering HP PC and Laptop revenues, it wil be a considerable amount of saved energy. There is a system called EPEAT to help consumers to recognize environmental friendly electronics and HP was the first manufacturer to register a EPEAT Gold product with HP Compaq rp5700 Long Lifecycle Business Desktop in 2007. More manufacturers and products will follow.

Well.. I definitely need a small portable laptop without compromising functionality. I know Asus Eee PC is the obvious choice. I've already written here about how fantastic Asus Eee PC is and it's not only my thoughts, join the crowd since Asus Eee PC was Americas most wanted Christmas gift! I need to find out where I can buy Asus Eee PC with best price. I know I can't get one for $200 which was the original price indication from Asus, but I'm hoping to buy a new Asus Eee PC for $300. I hope I will found one soon. I'll get back when I do.
