Laptop Toshiba Satellite L300D

Toshiba L300D is soft designed with rounded lines in black except for the silver lid and handledstödet. With a weight of 2.5 kg, it is one of the better heavyweights in the test but it still looks right clumsy, especially when the lid is quite thick.

The monitor itself is both bright with good contrast, while the surface is certainly bright but not so disturbing. The keyboard is lacking in character and mouse buttons are, unfortunately, annoying hard to press down.

Thurion processor from AMD puts the computer performance in the middle among the tested laptops and ATI graphic card which sounds like a good idea performs worst in 3D and becomes easily beaten also by integrated Intel graphic cards.

L300D does not have bluetooth but has a built-in webcam to play with and Windows Vista Home Premium. Interestingly, we find no express PC-spot at all but instead an old PC card slot. This is perhaps unique in the test but it could be positive for those who have a PC card accessories they want to continue to use.

TOSHIBA SATELLITE L300D
Inexpensive but slightly underperforming laptop computer that looks quite ok and weigh relatively little for the segment. One idea might be to look for the L300 with intelcard for a little better performance.
