Fujifilm Finepix F100fd

Fujifilm Finepix F100fd has the highest resolution among the cameras in this test. 12 megapixels is great, indeed almost excessive in such a small camera. Among other characteristics reflected a wide angle in the corresponding 28 millimetres, and facefocusing functionality which also manages to find faces in profile.

F100fd takes time to start. After three and a half seconds, you can snap your first picture. Auto focus is pretty fast for a compact camera and the waiting time between exposures is about three seconds. Auto focus takes around 0.4 seconds to focus and snap the picture.
Some chromatic aberration is present, but are not too distracting.

Image stabilization could have been better to provide clarity at the pictures, particularly noticeable when you use the optical zoom maximum position. At ISO 800 noices starts to become clear, while the ISO 1600 and 3200 clarity in display quality of grain images and details dissapeared. Otherwise, the picture quality is very good with natural saturated colors, and the dynamic range excellent, which allows you to see the details of shadows. Many cameras has it difficult to cope with images with high contrasts, often becoming bright and with black shadows. But f100fd impresses with to cope with these details with bravura! Source: IDG
