With ASUS Eee PC 1000H Asus has gone in the opposite direction from the ASUS Eee PC 901. This is the test most generous computer, which really stretches the limits to what can be called a "Netbook". If you add $100-$200 and some extra hectogramme in weight and slightly broader measure ASUS Eee PC 1000H could be called a "common" portable. The keyboard is well taken, the screen is ten inches, and a 80 gigabyte hard drive allows you to use it quite a while before you run out of storage place for documents and programs. Eee PC 1000H also has a six cell battery, giving it almost as good battery life time as its little brother ASUS Eee 901. Both Asus computers have mouse and keyboard quality, and we find nothing to fault in terms of screen quality or the general design, either. Eee PC 1000H is a good choice if you do not bother much about optimal low weight, but want a reliable computer with good battery life. The price is slightly higher than average, but the difference in price between the various computers are hardly worth mentioning, $70-$80 up or down. |
