Acer Aspire One - the smartest of them all The most plain computer is also by far the most portable of the netbooks in the test. It is, despite generous keyboard and extra large hard drive very handy. Acer may get good marks for a clear and bright screen and a comfortable keyboard that uses the limited surface good, with keys that are almost as large as on an ordinary PC. However mouse is not an equally pleasant experience. Indeed mousepad is the glossy for my finger to slide easily on it, and moreover, you need to press unusually hard to get it to respond. Acer Aspire One gets plus for the excellent portability and that it despite its size is really convenient to work with. If you do not try to do something cumbersome, like opening a really large Word file or pdf. Acer One has rapid Atom processor and a gigabyte of memory, and it keeps pace with the better computers in the test. The battery is sufficient, however liter shorter than average, presumably because of the Aspire One has an ability to use the fans quite healthy. Acer is still the test winner! Source IDG. |
