SonyEricsson

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 with Qwerty

| | | | |

Sony Ericsson has come up with the advanced Xperia X1 that will be introduced shortly. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is a good phone and delivers some really nice features. My absolute favorite is the wellproportioned 3 inch TFT touchscreen combined with the handy Qwerty keyboard.  It offers great standards with WVGA 65536 colors that will maximize the pleasure out of the 3.2 megapixel camera. Xperia X1 also acts as a pretty good camcorder.

In short: The Xperia X1 from Sony Ericsson is a unique mobile phone with a lot of new highly modern features. I´d say it´s gonna be bestseller!

Sony Ericsson gaining market shares - No 3 in 2008?

| | |

A short note: SonyEricsson makes a move showing over 100 million sold handsets for the fiscal 2007. This makes the company the 4:th largest brand on the mobile phone market. It seems like they have been successfull in their branding with their popular walkman phone series. Is this just a short trend or will the growth continue? The market is highly competitive and SonyEricsson needs to put a lot of money into research and development to stand the competition with Nokia, Motorola and Samsung. Good luck!

Sony Ericsson's W910i - Cool looking phone

| | |

Sony Ericsson's W910i has a thin smooth look with the format 99 x 50 x 12 mm, in other words, really slim.

W910i only weights about 86g and looks a bit like Ipod Nano with its stearing weel. The display is a regular 240-320px with 200k color TFT. Memory is only expandable to 4GB, which is OK but one might have expected more from a music phone like this one. W910 has good support for many different networks, that is really nice if you travel a lot.

  • GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, EDGE, HSDPA 2100, UMTS 2100
  • The camera handles max 2 mpix and in true sense SonyEricsson has really focused on the music part.

  • Bluetooth stereo : music can be played in a headset with a wireless connection
  • Shake control: change your tune just by shaking the phone
  • Megabass: enhanced bass frequency
  • MP3 & AAC as ringtones
  • Playnow: download music directly to your phone
  • TrackID: record a bit of a song and then receive track, album and artist info direct to your phone.
  • And more.
  • Sony Ericsson's W910i is primary interesting because of its slick and cool look. I would buy one just for that ;)
