Annika Sorenstam had 17 months without winning a single title and one thought that she´d given up. But now she´s back on top winning the first LPGA tournament on the this years circuit. She wins the 2008 SBS Open at Turtle Bay, Hawaii two shots clear of Laura Diaz, Jane Park and The Rookie Russy Gulymanitta.

Is the swedish super golfer once again heading for the number one spot on the world ranking? One thing is for sure. It´s gonna be an exiting battle between annika and Lorena Ochoa this year. I´ll bet my dollars on Sorenstam. She´s back with a lot of ambition and wants to fininsh off her amazing career in style. Go Annika!

I told you so.. Tiger Woods wins again and what a way to do it! I couldn´t help but getting trapped in the TV sofa this weekend to see his performance once again. Did you guys see it? He came from 5 shots back after three rounds in Dubai and I was just about to count him off. But he Kept on fighting until the end finding positive energy from who knows where giving him the first spot after an elegant seven under, 65. I only have one word for Tiger.. Amazing!! Can´t help wondering where he gets his drive from. After winning somewhat 60+ tournaments he still keeps on struggleing to win more. Always hungry for more wins. I´ll say it again and again and again. Tiger Woods is the most dominant sports personality ever and he keeps surprising me. Go Tiger!!

Madonna is the top earning female musician according to the last Forbes ranking. We haven´t heard much from her lately but she knows how to earn her money. The ranking says a lot about her business skills and not to much about her music. We´ll find three oldtimers on the first three spots. Madonna on first with more than 70 million dollars in earnings. Barbra Streisand on second and Celine Dion at third. The still very much active colombian performer Shakira ends up at fourth spot. One might wonder how much money can one really need?!?

The excentric British golfer Ian Poulter tells his view of the future in golf. According to him it´s all gonna be between him and Tiger Woods this year and onwards. He spoke his mind in the last print of Golfworld. Either he´s been misinterpreted or he´s over confident in his own game. Well, He has a lot to prove before we´ll take him seriously. There´s a lot of players with the same high ambition. I believe nobody´s gonna come close to Tiger this year. In the competition for the second spot I´ll put my money on Henrik Stenson, the upcoming Swede with two consecutive runner-up finishes in the last two weeks. Ian poulter may believe in his talent as much as he like, but he´d better show some resuts before he stick his head up. 

We´re many that fell in tears last tuesday when one our greatest actors of today left us. He was so promising and talented and loving person. I´m sad for his family. It´s tragic to see such a young person die for no reason. I´m sad that we´ll never see him again in the movies. To me he was an incredible and talented actor that would have given us many astounding appearances in the years to come.

The same was said about James Dean and he keeps on living in our hearts. I´d say that Heath Ledger will be just as cult as James Dean in a cople of years time.

I´ve heard his appearance in Batman will win him an Oscar. I´ll be waiting to see..

Just a short note on Tiger Woods! Did anyone see his perfomance in the San Diego PGA event. He crushed the competition and won by eight f---ing strokes. That´s like winning the tennis match 6-0,6-0 and 6-0 or winning the SuperBowl 27-0. And this on his first event of the year. I have never seen anyone in the history dominate a sport like Tiger does. Is he human or or is he some kind of machine or Marsian?  I wouldn´t be surprised if he´s some kind of invention from Bill Gates :) Anyway..  It´s amazing to see him play and I won´t be surprised if he ends up winning all events this year including the big five. Anybody wanna bet against?
