The competition is fierce when it comes to mediastreamers, to mention a couple Archos TV, Linksys KISS, Logitech Squeezebox. Iomega ScreenPlay PRO 750GB is much like these players and support many media file types MP3, WMA, DivX, Mpeg and Xvid. One important exception is that Iomega ScreenPlay does not have built in WiFi support and that is definitely something Iomega should have inlcluded. WiFi support is becoming standard in every mediastreamer nowadays. Iomega makes excellent external HDs, they have put the money in what they do best and included a 750GB disk (which is not bad).

Archos is targeting the high end consumers with Archos TV 250 and this player delivers quality.  

FM Speaker mp4 player is made in China and that means just decent quality to an affordable price. FM Speaker mp4 has nothing over the ordinary, but enough features to motivate some consumers. Cowon iRiver Clix 4GB media player is a better version of the predecessor the multi award winning Iriver U10. Cheap MP3 players is easy to find and Iriver T60 2GB is a black one with nice design, but I could do without the replaceable AAA batteries concept (it should be rechargable batteries of course). Using a AAA battery Iriver T60 can play 18 hours of music straight.

Iriver T60 has a built in FM receiver, voice recorder and 65000 color LCD display. I would not recommend Iriver T60, there a too many good MP3 players in the market. Iriver has to deliver more solid products if they want to compete on the tough MP3 player market.

Take a look at this iPod look alike. The Apacer Steno AU860 comes with a lot of the features that you´ll see in the iPod. The design is quite similar as well. So why spend 50% more money for just the iPod brand when you can have just as much with the Apacer. Who needs a GPS receiver? Why does every new gadget need a built in GPS, apparently everybody! Iriver don't want to be left behind and will release Iriver W7 MP3 media player later this year in US. Iriver W7 won a price in latest CES 2008 and will be sold for around $250. That's actually a good price for a MP3 GPS hybrid.
