I'm going out to the wilderness this coming weekend. The last times, I really missed having a good pair of binoculars. I've been searching the web a bit and found Olympus Outback 8x21 RC1 Binoculars. It doesn't cost much and it has a slim body and design with UV protection and built in diopetric correction to adjust user's eyesight. With 8x magnification, 21mm object diameter, 7.2 ft minimum focus distance and 6.2 degrees angle of view Olympus Outback 8x21 RC1 is decent in this price range ($40-50). Small dimension and weight of only 6.9oz, I think Olympus Outback RC1 might be the binoculars I was looking for. I will search the web a bit more before deciding. Cheers!
