Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 mobile phone is the latest and most advanced phone from Sony Ericsson so far. Sony Ericsson's C905 shell is more similar to Sony's digital cameras than any previous mobile phones, you can say it has a look of a mobile phone designed as a camera. The great thing about this mobile phone is the built in camera with eight megapixels (8.1 to be exact), camera flash, and many other functionality. But if a mobile phone is this thick, why not throw in optical zoom and a better sensor? C905 offers solid functionality with built-in GPS, WLAN and applications like Google map and Wayfinder 7. C905 is of course one of Sony Ericssons best phone so far.

Nokia E71 is doing everything that a sequel should do, and so with bravura. But the more slim format is for the expense of usability.
The predecessor E61 has been a small but loyal popular among people who want to use their mobile phones for a little more advanced than writing SMS.
E71 is a few steps further. Among other things, slimmed down slightly, especially in width. Now, it can almost pass as a regular candybar phone size. But it has unfortunately not been entirely painless. The interface is a variant of Series 60. Comparatively, it can be described as the N-series running Windows Vista with all graphics activated, while the E71 uses a desktop that was deliberately trying to emulate Windows NT, despite the fact that they can more or less the same things. Very disturbing.
The predecessor E61 lack camera, which was corrected in a later versions of the phone. E71 has a powerful 3.2 megapixel camera with built-in auto focus right from the start. Not directly a high end, but quite okay. Just as before, there is also wlan built-in, which this time also been joined by a GPS receiver (approximately the same as all other Nokia phones now).

Xperia X1 will not be delayed, announces Sony Ericsson. But in the rock-hard competition is a risk that the company speeds up and launches the phone, according to analysts. The market for advanced phones is escalating. Meanwhile, Sony Ericsson's top mobile phone Xperia X1 will not end up on supermarket shelves yet.
Xperia X1 is no longer the marvel of technology that it had been if it was released in February. In addition, two advanced Windows Mobile phones was released in the summer, Diamond HTC and Samsung Omnia. Yet Sony Ericsson promises that the product will be delivered on October 10.

World sold more than 32.2 million smart mobile devices in the second quarter of this year. There is an increase of 16 percent over the same quarter last year. Smart mobile phones account for 11 percent of the total mobile market.
-- Although sales in the second quarter amounted to 64 million units, an increase of 22 per cent, growth rate is actually lower than 2007, "said Roberta Cozza, analyst at Gartner.
Economic slowdown affects the market by reducing consumer investments and lower demand for electronics products.
The U.S. is growing fastest and has a growth rate of 79 percent in the second quarter. United States accounts for 25 percent of global sales. Growth in Europe is 21 percent. Asia has a decrease of 24 percent, and in Japan sales fell 5 percent.
The largest supplier is Nokia, which has 48 percent of
market. It is a reduction compared with the corresponding period of last year when the figure stood at 51 percent. The company will first of all increase the breadth of its product range, according to Gartner.
Research In Motion, the manufacturer of the Blackberry, took a share of 17 percent, almost a doubling of last year's 9 percent.
Samsung i550 mobile phone

Samsung is aiming to give the Nokia E-series one match with its new mobile phone with GPS.
Thin smartphones is a niche that Samsung been successful in with products like i600 and i780. The latest addition is called i550, and looks pretty much like an i600, but with standing screen, and common buttons instead of qwerty keyboard.
Inside the shell are more differences. The operating system is Symbian S60, that is to say the same menus, as in countless Nokiamobiles. Samsung i550 feels really solid. The rubbershell from the i700 and i780 has been replaced by plastic leatherstructure. Not quite as attractive, but a practical solution and scratch resistance. The buttons look rather small on the picture, but they work better then expected and both the buttons and the gap is larger than on mobile phones such as Nokia N82 or Sony Ericsson w890. On the Windows Mobile uses a Samsung software from Garmin, while the program in i550 is identical to Navigon MobileNavigator 6. Adjustments and the search is quite the same category as a standalone navigator, but there are shortcomings to zoom is hidden in a submenu, and that the map image shows up only when the GPS receiver managed to find their position.
Sony Ericsson mobile phone C702 Cyber-shot

The camera capable of 3.2 megapixel and has auto focus. The images can be provided with tags that talk about where they have been taken by information retrieved from the built-in Navigator. C702 Cyber-shot weighs 105 grams, has been operating for five hours and standby time of 300 hours.
