Netgear EVA8000 is a decent player, you can stream your favourite video on your TV in HD quality. Netgear EVA8000 has great software for finding and organizing your media files in a convenient media library. You can use EVA8000 to directly stream Youtube videos on your TV. EVA8000 has support for PC, MAC, Linux and with other USB units.

The competition is fierce when it comes to mediastreamers, to mention a couple Archos TV, Linksys KISS, Logitech Squeezebox. Iomega ScreenPlay PRO 750GB is much like these players and support many media file types MP3, WMA, DivX, Mpeg and Xvid. One important exception is that Iomega ScreenPlay does not have built in WiFi support and that is definitely something Iomega should have inlcluded. WiFi support is becoming standard in every mediastreamer nowadays. Iomega makes excellent external HDs, they have put the money in what they do best and included a 750GB disk (which is not bad).
