I´m planning this years winter vacation and as always we´re heading for the mountains up north. It´s gonna be an eight our ride in the family SUV with the kids in the back seat. You know what that means... A lot of screaming and complaining about food and bathroom and so and so. I love the kids but sometimes it can be a bit annoying. This year I was thinking that I´d surprise them with some entertainment on the road. They´ve talked about it for a while now but we haven´t really taken it seriously. Looking around I found these Nextbase LCD screens of 7 inch that installs easily on the back of the front seat. Perfect. They support DVD, DivX and MPEG and comes with a remote control that will give me the power as a parent. The best thing of all.

Sony's B4000 series is a set of LCD TVs with built in digitial receivers (dvb-t) in sizes 20, 23 and 26 inch. These LCD TVs are the ones we are supposed to have as supplemental to the regular big flat screens in your living room. Sony Bravia B4000 is light and easy to move around and good looking in white. It's HD-ready with low energy usage of 0.7 watt in standby mode. Bravia B4000 series is solid good quality LCD TVs, but a bit too expensive.

DiBoss is a Korean company that makes good quality LCD TVs to a low price. So if you are looking for the cheapest LCD TV on the market, you might wan't to consider one of DiBoss models. This one, DiBoss LT-40T6LVH 40 inch is HD-ready with HDMI and VGA interface. It has picture resolution 1366x768 and 1000:1 contrast. DiBoss gives you much LCD TV for your money and is a clearly a good choice among the cheapest brands.

Sharp came out with their breaking news about this giant LCD tv in january this year. Measuring 108 inches it´s supposed to become the largest LCD yet to be seen. Furtermore it comes with absolute top features. What do you think of this!?! TFT active-matrix drive system and amazing 2.07 million pixels (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). I wonder what the price of this monster will be. Supposedly it comes in six figures. Though one still wonder if this is for real or if it´s just a marketing trick. We still haven´t seen it for sale in the market. If anybody knows different, please let me know!

If you are looking for a bargain LCD TV, then Tatung V37MCGI-ED1 might be a good option. It is a HD ready LCD TV with an integrated digital cable TV receiver (DVB-T). If you are looking for a ultrathin LCD TV start with Hitachi. In march 2008 they will launch the new Hitachi UT Series. According to Hitachi it´s the slimmest LCD yet to be seen measuring 35mm in total. Imagine that! No problem to find a spot back home for this gadget. You can probably place it anywhere in your apartment since it´s wellproportioned from all sides, so why not place it in the middle of your livingroom or in the ceiling of the bedroom. The possibilities for the Hitachi UT series are unlimited if you´re imaginative :). This is a market revolution bringing the TV enjoyment up another level. 

Are you just about to take a warm relaxing bath and suddenly remembers that "MTV cribs" is on and you don't want to miss it. Then you should definitely have this waterproof 8 inch LCD TV. It has anti rust metal stand and can be wall mounted.
