Does this sound familiar? You spend hours and hours in the supermarket running back and forth to find your groceries. Milk, apples, meat, cheese and bla bla bla. Probably ending up at the same sections/counters more then three times before you finally have picked all items from your grocery list. When you get back home you realize that you forgot about those carrots or those cereals, so back to the store once again..
Here´s a way to organize the shopping a bit better, the Smartshopper grocery list assistant. It recognizes over 2500 groceries by speech. Just press record and tell it what you need. Then it organizes your list in alphabetic order into categories. When you´re going to the store just let it print your easy-to-read and well organized grocery list. You can add items anytime and the Smartshopper will store them until you head for the Supermarket. It comes with an errand organizer as well.
The Smartshopper assistant runs on four AA-batteries. It´s delivered with mounting hardware, magnet and paperrolls.
Price range: $150
I´ve had my gym card for five years. It started off really well for the first cople of years. Then it gradually went worse. I spent a month training and two months off, and the it went two weeks training and 3 months off. Now, having kids, it´s probably three weeks training after new years eve and then a year off. Do you recognize the pattern?
A few companies has noticed this absolutely normal pattern and came up with a digital personal trainer that guides you and helps you to keep the motivation. Seems like a really good idea. Here´s one of them.
Yourself!fitness: A digital personal trainer program for PC, Playstation and Xbox. Your own digital personal trainer, Maya, helps you to set training goals and set up training programs. "She" guides you through dynamic workouts with over 500 different exercises. Yourself!fitness gives you interaction by choosing workouts and exercises according to your set training goals. Yourself!fitness is selling for $30.
I´ll get my own digital personal trainer early next year to help me stay fit for all of 2009..
Tired of those awful electricity bills, getting higher and higher as the prices of oil and energy turn to the roof? Tired of the environment problems of today?
To me it´s not a bad thing that the energy prices get higher by the day. It makes us think of smarter ways to use the power and hopefully bringing us to a more balanced environment. Overconsumption of power and energy is in fact destroying our planet and the future of our kids. So let us all do our best to save our earth and let´s start with ourselves. What can we all do in our every day life to lower our energy usage? Small things added together will make a difference.

Darkness from dusk til dawn. Uf! I hate it! Never the less it´s reality if your stuck up in the north. In my home town you´ll be happy to se the sun two hours a day in december. Actually, from early november until late fabruary the average day lasts for 3 hours, the average night is 21 hours long. I seriously wonder how people manage to live in this environment, and keep living year after year. It´s all strange to me but that´s reality for not just me but millions and millions. It seems like most people don´t think to much about this, but to me it meens 6 months of depression. Well, there seems to be a solution nowadays. Surfing the internet I found these Light therapy systems made for your home. Most of them are portable and quite cheap. I bought the Britelite light therapy system that seems to be one of the bigger selling products in this market, costing only $299. It´s a full spectrum, 10.000 lux solar therapy system that is supposed to give you 100 percent of the right light (according to researchers at Apollo). The number one product from Apollo health, Brite lite 6 comes with a two year warranty, which is quite handy if you need it as much as me (I probably use it one hour a day, six months a year).

I think that this one is for those living in the desert. Librex group has this watermaking machine for sale called "waterex", producing water out of thin air. Somehow it gathers water molecules and purifies it so you can have your cool or warm glas of water without the need for a well or lake. I think it´s a cool idea! That´s not all.. It reduces humidity and dust in your home as well as bacteria and all other unpleasent things. 5 things in one.. Good thinking!
If you´re ready to cough up a cople of thousand dollars and you need to quench your thirst this one is for you.
