You have probably seen beautiful Hayden Panettiere in the popular TV series Heroes. She got that girl next door look that everyone loves. Anyway, if you want to see Hayden in a good comedy/drama, then take a look at the movie Shanghai Kiss. It is a low budget movie about an Asian-american actor (Ken Leung) that gets involved with a high school girl (Hayden Pannettiere). It has a good plot and earned prices in Newport Beach Film Festival and San francisco International Asian American Film Festival (not the greatest prices, but anyway). 7.1 stars at IMDB.com is not bad.

Paul Thomas's "There will be blood" is a movie about greed, religion, family and oil and takes place in the turn of the century, the early days of business were prospectors saw bright opportunities. Daniel Day Lewis plays the leading role as another Daniel (Plainview) and he just recently won 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role.

Coen brothers movie "No country of old men" (starring Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, Woody Harrelson, Josh Brolin) is big favourite in coming Oscar Academy Awards. "No country of old men" is nominated in eight categories, among them the most prestigious, best director. Coen brothers have already received the main prize at the Diretors Guild of America Awards for "No country of old men". The main competitor (also with 8 nomines) is Paul Thomas Anderson's "There will be blood". My guess is that Coen brothers will win big at the Oscar Academy Awards with over 4 prizes.
